The five scents:

• 🪵 Sandalwood (老山檀香) — the classic of Chinese incense culture, prized for over a thousand years in temples and scholars' studios. Creamy, warm and woody with a sweet finish; traditionally used to settle the mind for meditation, reading and tea.
• 🌱 Ay Tsao (艾草 — mugwort) — the herb of the Dragon Boat Festival, hung over doorways for centuries to cleanse and protect the home. Green, herbal and slightly camphorous; refreshing and clarifying.
• 🟤 Old Eaglewood (老沉香 — aged agarwood) — the most treasured wood in East Asian incense tradition, formed as Aquilaria trees slowly resinate over decades. Deep, resinous and faintly sweet; grounding and contemplative.
• ⚪ Wu Eaglewood (乌沉香 — dark agarwood) — a darker, cooler cousin of aged agarwood with a smoky, mineral depth. Quiet and meditative; traditionally burned in the evening to close the day.
